Every Papillon story is written by humans, illustrated by humans and validated with child psychology expertise. Because nobody wants bedtime to feel like therapy. And children definitely don't want it to feel like homework. They simply get a wonderful story.

We keep that gentle too. Choose your child's name, hairstyle, hair colour and skin tone so they can recognise a little of themselves in the main character.
There are no AI face swaps and no attempt to recreate your child's exact face. The character artwork is created by our illustrators, with different elements hand-drawn to allow children to see themselves represented within the story.
When your child has moved through that milestone, mastered that skill or simply outgrown the story, the book can still belong to someone else.
